How Does It Work?
Excel V laser treats vascular conditions by administering a green laser that is absorbed by the abnormal blood vessels in the skin. The laser heats the abnormal vessels causing the vein walls to collapse and shut. Over time, the vessels will no longer be visible.
Unlike traditional vascular laser treatments that use just one laser, Excel V uses a dual laser system that targets blood vessels closer to the skin and people with lighter pigmentation, as well as a laser that targets deep blood vessels and darker pigmentation. Both lasers are incredibly precise and can be used interchangeably for a customized treatment to suit your individual skin needs.
How Many Treatments are Required?
Several treatments may be necessary to achieve the desired results. The number of treatments will vary depending on the size, thickness and colour of the area.

The first client came to us with concerns about skin pigmentation and you can see the visible results after 3 treatments. The second client had concerns about spider veins, with clearly visible results after six treatments.

Excel V laser treatments are non-invasive and require minimal time, with most treatments lasting only 10 to 15 minutes. This treatment comes with the added benefits of minimal discomfort during treatment and no long-term downtime; and it’s suitable for all skin types and all skin ethnicity.
Are There Any Side Effects?
While results will vary from patient to patient, most people report few, if any, side effects.
Excel V treatment is relatively pain free, but you may experience a stinging sensation on your skin as the pulses of energy are delivered.
After treatment, you may also experience slight reddening and minor swelling of the skin. In most cases, this will resolve within 48 hours. In some instances, slight bruising or blistering may also occur.
It is recommended you follow the home after-care routine for best results.
